New Student Information System

Bowling Green R-1 School District is pleased to announce that it will switch to Infinite Campus as its new student information system for the start of the 24-25 school year. Infinite Campus will replace the current student information system, Tyler SIS.

There are many new features with Infinite Campus. Here are some of the top features we are excited for families to experience through Infinite Campus:

Student & Parent Portal Access App

Infinite Campus provides a user-friendly web-based solution accompanied by their mobile app, ensuring accessibility for all district families on their preferred devices, whether Android, iPhone, or iPad. Checking grades and assignments or attendance, everything will just be a tap away!

Notifications 

Through the Infinite Campus/Parent Portal and Community App, notifications can be set to provide timely communication regarding grades, assignments, attendance, and more.

What is Infinite Campus?

Infinite Campus (IC) is a highly-regarded student information system used by many school districts across the country. IC offers a secure online portal that allows you to access your child’s grades, attendance records, and assignments. This feature will allow you to stay up to date on your child’s academic progress and make informed decisions regarding their education.

Why is the District changing SIS providers?

The current provider of BGR1’s Student Information System (Tyler SIS) announced in 2022 that their SISK12 product will no longer be supported and will be gradually phased out by 2025. The decision was made to make a change to a software program that will improve efficiency by streamlining data management with a user-friendly platform to access and monitor your child’s academic progress.

How do I begin using my Infinite Campus Portal?

We are actively working on transitioning to the new Infinite Campus platform. One of the first steps will have families complete online verification in Infinite Campus. This summer, be on the lookout for information on how to access and use the new system for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.
